The ‘Bigg Boss’ show is one of the most popular in the Indian entertainment space and currently the ‘Bigg Boss Tamil 8’ and ‘Bigg Boss Hindi 18’ are under way with Vijay Sethupathi and Salman Khan as host respectively.
Meanwhile in The 18th season of Hindi Bigg Boss the contestants were in for a surprise as donkey made its entry into the house. The Bigg Boss then informed the television actors, social media celebrities and others are participating that the unexpected guest is Gadhraj. The housemates have been advised to take care of the donkey in the garden area.
The move has apparently irked animal lovers and Animal welfare organization PETA has written a letter to Bigg Boss host Salman Khan. “We are being inundated with complaints by members of the public who are deeply distressed over the keeping of a donkey in the Bigg Boss house. Their concerns are valid and must not be ignored,” the letter reads. Calling the inclusion of the donkey in the reality show ‘distressing’, PETA India has urged Salman to use his influence as a host and star ‘to surrender the donkey to PETA India, to rehome in a sanctuary with other rescued donkeys’. The donkey should be handed over to us immediately. Using a donkey in a show like Bigg Boss is no laughing matter.
It is said that Donkeys are naturally nervous. Especially the noise from the Bigg Boss house, the lighting, all these add up to make it even more terrifying. Looks like Gadhraj will be making a faster exit from ‘Bigg Boss 18’ as PETA has also sent the warning letter to Viacom 18 the producers of the show.
